The Vanoise National Park was the first to be created in France, in 1963. It is a protected nature park, freely open to all.

Starting at Champagny Le Haut valley, which is also a classified site, the Vanoise Park is located at the foot of the majestic glaciers Grand Casse and Grande Motte. It is the warden of a preserved wildlife, showing 53 000 hectares of numerous landscapes along 500 km of diversified footpaths to do with the family, at your own pace.
Starting early in the morning, you will increase lucky meetings: ibex, chamois, marmots, grouse lyre or partridges, . It can be visited all year round, either or one's own via the network of marked trails, or with a tour guide having "national park" accreditation.
Champagny also proposes many itenaries around the village where dogs are allowed, discovery thematic trails and treks.
