Champagny en Vanoise is an authentic Savoyard village

huddled in the fir trees, located at the bottom of the Tarentaise range glaciers.

Ski resort of character it offers one of the biggest ski area of the world with 425 km of slopes: La Plagne and Les Arcs, good snow with a glacier more than 3200 m high, an uninterrupted vertical drop of almost 1250 m and forests, wide curves, freeride, freestyle at the heart of an outstanding setting. This skiing area is fantastic and you can ski for miles and miles with lots of lovely mountain restaurants to stop at for refreshments.

For nature lovers, Champagny le Haut is a preserved and listed site with typical hamlets, nordic domain (22 km crosscountry skiing), snowshoe walks, dogsled rides, ice climbs on a tower unique in Europe and all protected animals, flowers and architecture.
The village offers all convenience with bars, restaurants, super markets, cinema, bakery, butchers, cheese shop ... While having a drink or gathering in the lounge, feel friendliness and generosity that remain here an Art of life.

Originally, Champagny was a mountain community that ranged hamlets to the feet of living modestly glaciers of agriculture and pastures. Thanks to the link with the resorts of La Plagne, the village became a ski resort without losing his soul.
